Supporting financial literacy in our community
Financial Service Group is pleased to announce that we have selected SecureFutures as our community organization to help support in 2026. That means that we will be doing various things to help promote and support the great work that SecureFutures does to build the financial literacy and personal responsibility in our community especially with high school students.
We’re also pleased to have two members of our team who are actively involved with SecureFutures. For several years, Vince Tortorici has served as a volunteer delivering the Money Coach curriculum program at Racine high schools. Beginning in February, Vince will be working with students at the REAL School.
Pat Bohon is also a volunteer and serves as a 1:1 Money Coach, a supplement to the curriculum that concentrates on enabling student understanding and implementation of important lessons from the program.
Later this year, we’ll be conducting our biannual Client Survey that helps us track satisfaction, ideas, suggestions, questions, and other valuable data gathered from clients. Each year in appreciation of client participation for completing the survey, we make a “gratitude” donation to an organization on behalf of our clients and this year the recipient of this donation will be SecureFutures.
We will also be looking for other opportunities to help support them and we’ve been brewing up some ideas for ways we can further contribute. Watch our newsletter for updates throughout the year!
