Meet Deanna!

We’re pleased to introduce Deanna Zabel, a Wisconsin-based communications consultant who has joined us to support the content and communications you’ll be seeing from FSG. Deanna brings years of professional experience helping organizations connect meaningfully with the people they serve, turning complex topics into clear, approachable content that resonates with the audience.

Tami Witt will be retiring from her day-to-day responsibilities with FSG after more than two decades of behind-the-scenes coordinating internal and external communication efforts.

In her role with us, Deanna will support several areas as they transition from Tami: the newsletter that lands in your inbox, content across our website, and communications about our upcoming events. Her focus is simple: make sure every touchpoint you have with FSG is well-crafted, relevant, and respectful of your time.

Outside of the work itself, she genuinely loves serving her consulting clients. She recently returned from Barcelona, where she attended (and presented at) a conference for Global Internal Communicators. Deanna has been bit by the travel bug and is anxiously researching her next trip!

Deanna is married to Jeff, and they have two children: a daughter who is 23 and works as an emergency veterinary technician, and a son who is 21 and just completed his third year at a small college in Tennessee. Deanna completed her Executive MBA last year, and also has a Bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
