Warm welcome to Brittany Komorowski, who has joined FSG as an Associate Financial Planner after earning her Personal Finance degree from UW-Madison.
During her academic career, Brittany enjoyed classes focused on Estate Planning the most and self-reports a dislike for her Geology course because it didn’t allow her to use her math skills. Sounds like she made a great career choice! In fact, Brittany entered this field because of her desire to help people achieve their financial and life goals. FSG’s focus on continued education and our commitment to the community were attractive features when she was looking at her post-graduation opportunities.
While completing her degree, Brittany served an internship with Ameriprise, where she had the opportunity to experience the financial planning industry by observing client meetings and preparing financial documents. She was also a Peer Educator for the Financial Life Skills course at UW-Madison where she was eager to help other students learn about something for which she has a great deal of passion.
Obviously a dedicated student and hard-worker, Brittany funded her education through other work experiences including a sales role at Sherwin Williams where she enjoyed building relationships with repeat customers.
Consistent with FSG values, Brittany is committed to the communities where she lives and works. She was a volunteer at the Dane County Humane Society, math tutor with Badger Volunteers, and volunteer tax preparer with UW-Credit Union’s income tax assistance program.
Brittany’s cheerful smile and thoughtful approach to her work is sure to be a great advantage to our clients .
