Kim joined FSG in March 2013 as our office assistant. We like to call her the “catcher of spinning plates,” as her tasks are varied and she is always willing to take on new tasks. She helps clients with managing their savings bonds through Treasury Direct and interacts with Schwab and other institutions for client support. Kim ensures client information is properly and securely entered and catalogued for easy access and reference.

Through the years, Kim has groomed our park-like outdoor space with beautifully maintained floral and seasonal decorations. During the holidays, we receive endless compliments on our stately Christmas tree, thanks to Kim’s careful attention to detail.

Behind the scenes with Kim

• As a child, Kim wanted to be a mom, a teacher, and a TV sportscaster and her favorite subject in school was math. Given the opportunity to compete in an Olympic sport, Kim would have chosen swimming the 50 and 100 freestyles and relay races.
• She lists being a mom to four among her greatest accomplishments. An avid sports-mom, she had plenty of opportunity to flex her “sportscaster” aspiration, along with being involved with their myriad other activities.  She will soon launch into her newest role…Grandma!
• Kim started doing fluid-art in 2021 and was immediately hooked. In celebration of FSG’s 40^th anniversary, Kim hand crafted 1000 coasters that served as client appreciation gifts. “I enjoy the uncertainty of each piece and experimenting with different colors and techniques,” she said. Samples of Kim’s fluid-art are on display at our office.
• What’s on Kim’s bucket list? She’d like to travel, buy a lake cottage, and eat a vegetable daily!
