From hearts full of gratitude, all blessings flow

There is a certain wealth that no advisor, regardless of skill and experience, can help to increase. That is the wealth that comes from sincere, authentic gratitude for the experiences and events that add true richness to our lives.
In our roles as your financial planning partners, we are grateful that you allow us to work with you to achieve all the facets of your great life as you define them and want them to be. We work diligently and responsibly in ensuring your financial and career assets yield you returns that help you realize the tangible benefits you envision. But perhaps our greatest differentiator is that we are dedicated to helping you imagine and receive the intangible wealth that comes from the fruit of your labors. The rewards of those experiences are limitless in terms of value and truly are the foundation of your wealth.
In the past month, there have been several momentous life events in the lives of our team members that serve as a glorious reminder that true “richness” stems from gratitude for our life experiences.
Today, I’m reminded to be grateful for all the blessings we recently celebrated that add a special kind of wealth to our great lives. A new life, a new marriage, a new home. Yes, it’s been quite a month for our team!
In early October, Kim Molbeck became a first-time grandmother. She welcomed her first grandson with all the awe of that unique and special event. There’s nothing like the feeling that comes with observing your child holding his child for the first time. It’s a physical swelling of your heart and an expansion of the entire world around you. It’s a world filled with promise and newness and is a priceless reminder to share our gratitude with the universe that grants us such invaluable gifts.
Terri D’Alie celebrated the marriage of her stepson, Michael, to Kayla–a first for her and husband Vince’s, blended family of four sons. The day was blessed with beautiful weather for the outdoor early October ceremony. The newlyweds exchanged vows that committed their lives to one another in all the joys and tribulations that will mark their journey. With trees just starting to show the change of colors it reminds us that there is a season to all things. With hearts full of gratitude, the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. D’Alie began their life journey together with the rich and full blessings of their family and friends.
Tami and I also celebrated a life-changing event. To mark our 22nd anniversary, we decided to take an unexpected turn in our lifestyle by moving from our suburban Caledonia home to a four-acre hobby farm in Union Grove. Now a chicken-mom to a flock of 34 and an aspiring bee-keeper, Tami’s dream of a country home has finally been realized. We’re now located closer to three of our four sons, which will no doubt be helpful as we age. In the meantime, we’re filled with wonder at our new discoveries and Tami swears that country-living will help keep us younger, longer. It will certainly keep us active—very, very active. Together, we are so very grateful for all the new experiences and opportunities that await proving that you’re never too old to keep on learning!
These three October celebrations among our team cannot be expressed in terms of investment, dollar value, or returns. Rather, they illustrate the intangible value of our life experiences. There is no way to put a price on those things that bring us joy.
“From hearts full of gratitude, all blessings flow and add wealth beyond measure to our lives,” Tami said as she conducted a traditional smudging ceremony at our new home. That simple statement sums up beautifully the theme of this month that has produced a bounty of blessings. While we celebrate our good fortunes, all of us at Team FSG remain grateful to you for allowing us to contribute to helping you achieve your great life exactly as you dream it should be.
